Something to post

Well, it seems as if I have not posted anything in the past month... There have been several events that have occurred since the last post, but have not exercised the privilege of blogging about them. Some of these events will remain classified-top secret for the present time.

It also seems as if a phenomenon has occurred, with facebook becoming the primary communication tool for me and other bloggers (some are former bloggers...i.e. forty-one), which may place blogs in danger of extinction. Nevertheless, I do wish to share a stupendous visit that occurred at the beginning of this week.

Family has finally visited me in Oregon! Sorry, if this sounds selfish...I just have not had anyone in my family visit me since I moved here over a year ago. Receiving the prize for the first members of my family to visit....Chris (Sir Zerful) and his wife Sarah from Anderson, S.C.. They camped at Mt. Hood and visited Sarah's grandparents near Eugene, OR prior to their (approximately) 1.5 day stay in Pendleton.

I took them to the Pendleton Woolen Mills (nationally famous for its use of virgin wool in clothing/blankets) at Sarah's request and to Wallowa mountains in NE Oregon where we hiked on a nice trail filled with roaring streams, waterfalls, amazing views, and a few deer. It was indeed a blessed event to visit with them the whole time they were here. So, a few pictures on the Chief Joseph trail of the Wallowa mountains...

Well, I hope everyone is enjoying (or about to enjoy) their summer break, however brief or long. May God richly bless you and, Lord willing, I will see some of you at Camp Moriah. This is supercell signing off.....for now...

Hey! I didn't realize you had a blog! Looks interesting. We've talked about visiting you, but it's rather far. Maybe we can sometime before you move. I'm glad you had a great time with Chris and Sarah!
